Interviews
Job hunting is stressful. You send your CV, you wait, and sometimes you never hear back.
We've been there ourselves, which is exactly why we work to make every stage of the process feel comfortable for candidates. And judging by the feedback we get, it's working 🙂 Here's how it usually goes:
1) Intro call with a recruiter
A normal, human conversation.
We look at your profile beforehand, so we're not asking questions for the sake of it. We want to understand your experience, interests, and expectations, and in return, give you a real picture of the role and the company.
The call is often conducted in English, since that's our working language. Depending on the role, there may be a small practical task during the call, so it's worth joining from a laptop for convenience.
2) [For some roles] Test assignment
We keep test tasks short and relevant, usually as close to real work as possible. You'll have one or two days to complete it. The goal isn't to overwhelm you, it's to understand how you think and approach problems. It also gives you a genuine feel for what the work actually looks like.
3) Meeting with the hiring manager
This one goes deeper. You'll discuss the product, the tasks, team processes, and current challenges (often in English as well). We'd recommend exploring the product before the call, it makes for a much richer conversation :)
There are sometimes additional stages - a technical interview, a knowledge check, or a meeting with a future manager to talk through goals. But we don't like making things complicated.
In most cases, two or three steps are enough to make a decision.
A note on communication
We always keep candidates updated on their application status and we don't go quiet after interviews. It matters to us that people come away with a good impression of the process, even when it's not the right fit this time around.
We keep you in the loop at every stage, share updates, and always come back with results. What's more, when new roles open up, we reach out to candidates who've already been through our process before we go back to the market.
We're building several products at once, so new roles come up regularly.
If nothing fits right now, something might open up sooner than you'd think.
Keep an eye on our careers page or Telegram so you don't miss new vacancies! 🙂
